Founded in 1939, Jinhua chemical (group) corporation is a state-owned special large enterprise, one of the 500 strongest enterprise in China and 18 largest chemical industry production bases. In 1950-1960s, as the earliest chemical base, there are 16 product were experimented and put into production and then spread all over the country for large-scale industrialized production. The JHCC is the mother of Chinese chemical industry. The company facilities covers an area of 4.5 million sqm, the employees are 12,000, 1100 of them are technician, the total assets is 4.2 billion yuan.

JHCC is situated in Huludao city where is along Bohai economic ring, the transportation is very convenient ,the jingshen highway and shenshan highway go across here. Huludao port, a natural open harbor where giant steamship with ten thousand tonnage of capacity can be berthed,it is 35km from jinzhou port, and close to the Jinzhou airport and Shanhaiguan airport, which features the advantages of water, land and air.

Now, The JHCC have 20 chemicals, such as caustic soda, PVC, PO, polyols, trichloroethylene, propylene glycol , chlorobenzene, cyclohexanone , HCL etc. We also produce cement, water purify machine, corrugated pipe , plastic window and door. We have the ability in R&D, machine, storage & transportation, construction erection etc.

The JHCC has perfect public service, the daily water supplying capacity is 110,000 tons, the steam is 610 ton/hour, our facilities also includes 3 generating units, the power is 50MW, the annual energy output is 2 thousand million KWh. All the waste water of us are treated in sewage treatment field before discharged, the treatment capacity is 1,500t/h. We have a 23km special railway and a classification yard with five pipelines. In the Jinzhou port, we set up a liquid petrochemicals storage and transportation zone with various facilities, it can provide load and unload for lots of products, such as ethylene, propylene, PLG, caustic soda etc.

The JHCC is consist of a public company-Jinhua chlor-alkali share-holding Co., ltd. (including chlor-alkali factory, resin factory and polyols factory), a cement factory, a heating power company, machine erection company, other manage departments. Our share-holding companies are Huludao PVC co., LTD, huludao chloroethylene co., ltd.,jinhui petrochemical storage & transportation Co., ltd., jinhui ethylene Co., LTD; The mutual share-holding companies are dandong chemical fiber factory, jinxi natural gas co., ltd. etc. In recent years,JHCC has constantly adhere to the concentration on the benefit and market direction. Combined reorganization as well as management and the enterprise has made considerable progress.

During the " seventh five years plan", the JHCC introduced 200, 000 t/a PO serial product, by technical innovation, the real output is two fold of design capacity. In 2000, the real output is 40, 238 tons, in 2001, it is over 45,000 tons.

In " ninth five years plan ", the product organization adjustment is point of our work , we undertook the technical innovation. At the end of 2000, our product have got economic scale, the production capacity of PO is 130,000 ton, polyols is 120,000 ton, which rank the first position in far east region; the product capacity of ion membrane is 290,000 ton, it is the first in China. The PVC is 130,000 tons, it is the seventh position in China. In 1998, we have got the certificate of ISO9002-94 quality system.
